Christmas 2008 was special to us. We have very little snow in the Seattle area and we average a white Christmas every 18 years. The only white Christmas we've had during our 28 years living here was the year we were out of the state at Christmas. We had snow off and on for nearly three weeks this season and it snowed Christmas Eve and Day. This was our coldest winter in 16 years.
The picture on the right is our 'Seattle Family'. Julie and I are in the center-rear. To the left of me is son Derek and to the right, son-in-law Ed. To the left of Julie is daughter-in-law Tara and to the right of Julie is daughter Christy. In the front row left-to-right are grandson Beckett, Julie's mother Elizabeth and our granddaughter Rowan.
